DRIVER QUALIFICATIONS
- Verification of past employment for previous 3 years (with no gaps in employment history) is required.
- Must meet all Federal and State Safety Regulations relating to Qualifications of Commercial Drivers (FMCSR part 391.)
- Must have valid CDL with required endorsements including HazMat.
- Must have NO serious moving violations in last 3 years, including:
- Reckless/careless driving
- Driving while intoxicated or under influence of drugs
- Hit and run; leaving the scene of accident or failure to report accident
- Excessive speeding (15 MPH or more over the posted limits)
- No current CDL suspensions, revocations or disqualifications. (Work permits or temporary licenses are not acceptable.
- No more than 5 moving traffic violations in last 3 years or more than 3 moving traffic violations in last 12 months.
- No DOT reportable, preventable accidents in last 3 years.
- Must have at least 2 years experience in operation of tractor-trailer equipment. Drivers who have documented tractor-trailer schooling with one year actual driving experience will be considered.
- Must be at least 25 years of age.
- Must have current DOT physical and be able to pass pre-employment drug test.
